Multicultural Night at Wilkins High School

The Alger B. Wilkins Multicultural Night is an annual event where teachers, students and parents can come together to meet in a more relaxed environment.  Each of the school’s teachers volunteer to choose a country to represent for this event.  Each country represented will have a decorated table including information about that country and an assortment of native foods and games for the guest.  The countries on display were Italy, Nigeria, Dominican Republic, Mexico, and China.

This was a really great opportunity for teachers and parents to discuss student progression and for A.B. Wilkins to contribute to its initiative towards family engagement.
