Restorative Justice Centers (RJC in Secondary Schools)

The Restorative Justice Center (RJC) offers an alternative educational setting for middle and high school students who have transgressed the Student Code of Conduct. Operated by a dedicated RJC facilitator, this center provides a constructive environment for students. The duration of a student's assignment to RJC typically spans 3 to 5 days, a period contingent on the specific circumstances of the incident. The RJC Facilitator assumes responsibility for helping students comprehend and fulfill their academic assignments, guiding them through ABE module completion, and employing restorative practices to encourage reflection, reconciliation, and relationship mending.
